A Love That's Stronger Than Death

​What do you do with the unlovable? The person that defies every conviction you hold of what is good and right? The lazy, the wicked, the deceived and deceptive… is there a love that is stronger than the hold of death on their life?
 
Is there a love that can soak into and fill the void within their heart? The part that so desperately needs God to right the wrongs and heal the wounds? Can our words, our touch, our attitude and demeanor towards them work the miracle and make a person whole?
 
Sometimes there are no “do-overs” in life. Sometimes you have one shot to make a difference in a person’s future.

Yes, we often have those “Groundhog Day” moments where we get to try again – but what if that day never comes? What if our words and actions today are all we have left – all we have to stand accountable before God when that day of judgement comes.
 
Love is not weakness. True love is a strength and unconditional love can save a life.
 
But what if they defy God? What if they are living an unrepentant life steeped in wickedness and evil and everything dark.
 
Somewhere deep inside there is a person with heaven in their hearts. A lost and hurting soul that cries out for God, screams out for the Creator. It may look different then it seems. Their deeds and actions may repel you. But every person is created by God and for God. And ultimately, every person can embrace the salvation that he holds out to them.
 
It might be today. It might be tomorrow. It may never happen. But we are God’s ambassadors in the earth, called unto good works. Called unto love. Called to bring his ever-increasing kingdom into the life of every soul that still has breath in their lungs.
 
There is a love that is stronger than death. And we are it.
