A Proclamation for the New Year 2022

​Let the voices arise in the new year!
 
Let your voice arise! Arise and shout! No matter how you are ending 2021, enter 2022 with a shout. No matter how messy this past year has been, arise and shout! Let your voice be heard in 2022.

​Has the Lord redeemed you? Has he saved, healed, or delivered you? We all have something to shout about, something to give God praise.
 
2022 will be a year of gathering...

2022 will be a year of gathering – gathering the voices, gathering the hearts.

Women strengthening women, men strengthening men, the followers of Christ coming together with a unified purpose to be salt and light. To raise our voices in song. To lift the bushel baskets off one another’s lives, to pull each other up on the hilltops to shout and shine for the Lord.
 
Your shout may look different than mine. Your shout may reach farther than mine. But every shout matters, every shine matters – lights in the darkness growing brighter and brighter like beacons leading the way for the lost and weary, the ones who are ready to come home to the Father.
 
How will you shout? A coffee date with a lonely coworker, a blog that will reach far and wide online, a song of worship, an extra bedtime story with your child – I don’t know what your shout will look like. Pick one, pick them all. Let your voice be heard in the heavenlies. Let your faith be seen in the earth.
 
Let the stress, the failures and frustrations of 2021 fade out and look to 2022 with fresh vision and revived resolve to be part of God’s increasing kingdom in the earth. Shout.

“Listen! I hear the voice of someone shouting, ‘Make a highway for the Lord through the wilderness. Make a straight, smooth road through the desert for our God. Fill the valleys and level the hills. Straighten out the curves and smooth out the rough spots. Then the glory of the Lord will be revealed, and all people will see it together. The Lord has spoken!’” Isaiah 40:3-5 NLT
