Don't Be Afraid to Rewrite Your Life Story

Ever wish life offered “do-overs”? You can have a fresh start in God and actually – you can rewrite your life story. Paul did it. Jonah did it. You can do it too.
 
Don’t be afraid to consider rewriting what your future looks like. All things are possible with God!

The reason this is on my heart is I recently rewrote a script and it’s been nominated for Best Script in the International Christian Film Festival. The script had already won an award and placed well in several film festivals, but I rewrote it to engage audiences on a deeper level. It took time and effort, but this nomination (and hopefully a win!) encouraged me that I made the right choice.
 
I pray the same for you. Take a risk and consider how your story could be different. What would you change, moving forward? How would you change? 
 
Remember, the apostle Paul was on a very different course before his encounter on the road to Damascus with Jesus. He went from persecutor to preacher and missionary, and wrote at least 13 books of the New Testament! (See Acts 22:2-8.)
 
You can’t change your past, but just like Paul, you can change what your future looks like. 
 
If you’re ready to rewrite your life narrative, press into the presence of God. Ask for his help and his guidance. Seek his grace to enable you to move out of the mold of the past and into the promise of the future.
