God Knows Your Name

​God knows your name.
 
The most recent movie in the Bourne franchise used the tagline: You know his name. After following the story of Jason Bourne through four feature films, finally you – and Jason – realize who he fully is.
 
We don’t have to wait to know who we are...

You are created in the image of God. He knows and cares about every detail of your life. He knows your very frame, down to the utmost fiber of who you are – and – he knows you more than you even know yourself.
 
He understands.
 
He understands the heartache in your soul, the disappointments that hold you back. The regrets that keep you from moving forward.
 
He knows.
 
He knows your deepest desire, your hopes and wishes and dreams.
 
He is at work.
 
More than even you want it, he wants good for your life. He’s paved the way for you to walk into blessing. Sometimes you have to fight through to get to the best things in life, but it’s worth the effort when you fully grasp that he has good in mind for you.
 
Life may not seem easy right now. The road may be difficult. I pray through it all that you would grasp the good things God has for you – and the good things he has for you to do.
 
“The steps of the godly are directed by the Lord. He delights in every detail of their lives. Though they stumble, they will not fall, for the Lord holds them by the hand.” Psalm 37:23-24
